Hey all. Can anyone give me a recommendation/link to a decent flat wiper upgrade for my 2006 fabia Vrs . Mine need replacing/upgrading now after the winter slog . Thanks in advance.

Got to be Bosch aero flat blade wipers, fitted them on almost every car I've ever owned.

about £25 from euro car parts iirc

I would second the Bosch aero. 

All Silicone wiper blades get my vote. 

Thanks guys. What's the deal with the silicone wipers? Are they in any way superior? I do like the look of the Bosch flat wipers.

Silicone does not degrade like rubber, I have got silicone and they are 4 years old now and still work great, before that I used Bosch which are good wipers but they still needed changing every year.

Hey duck, I don't suppose you know if the silicone ones are available in the flat wiper style like the bosch ones.

They sure are, I have XOPC ones, not cheap but save money in the long run

I'm happy with my Bosch AeroTwins, seam to last long enough.  I bought them from Euro Car Parts last time (on offer).
