Hi All,

 

Might be a quick and simple one here. The panel containing the three heater control knobs, including the A/C button and recirculate button does not light up when I put my sidelights on. All the other interior things (mirror switch, window buttons etc) work but not this one, which is annoying. My car does have some weird electrical niggles, such as boot lights not coming on, only a couple of doors triggering the interior light etc. The little light which illuminates the ashtray works, too, so there is just a gap of one 'panel'.

Any advice on how to get to the bulb, if possible, would be great!

In fact I've just found what I think is the solution!! I didn't look hard enough before I posted, sorry! 

Its a pita of a little tidgy bulb behind the fan speed knob;)

Put it to speed 2 and then pull it out.

Then a narrow pliers to gently reach in there to pop the bulb out.

Mine was gone when i bought me octy, and when i went looking someone had smashed the bulb in the holder on previous attempt at it..  nightmare stuff.

Quite faint but good enough to see what you're doing
