Platinum Skoda advert in local rag "what car of the year Feb 2017"so no other cars considered for the rest of the year

What Car & Autocar owned by Haymarket Media Group. (Publshing) As is Pistonheads.

Lord Michael Heseltine in other words.  (Middle man for the UK Government, and when VW bought Bentley)

VW, JLR etc obviously a Customer / Client of the group, for Launches etc, advertising. 'Creates Brand Communications' type thing....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haymarket_Media_Group

See Clients. VW,  Jaguar, ( JLR & Skoda are now in partnership in India, announced last week.

(Creative Brand Communications type Media / Press Release last week, i wonder who arranged that! )

Who or where does one get all the little,. *Spotted in Disguise at a track*, sneaked pictures,

Photoshopped Images "and might look like this",  Designers imaginings.

& as first seen in India in a Magazine / Website.  Not only Auto Express has 'Factory Insiders' it would seem.

People on forums that heard this and heard that and knows someone. (in the Media / Spin Department that is.

Obviously the Kodiaq is what ever they say it is even before What Car testers drive a right hand drive one,

they did the same with the Fabia Mk3 What Car Car of the Year before in the UK, and one particular engine, not them all.

Hilman avenger car of the year 1973 ish and look how that ended,I don't think these "car of the year " awards have much substance,a lot of motoring journalists shipped out to warm climes, whined and dined ,driving a new car on

nice roads for free. Its a bit different in the real world when you pay out your hard earned money only to find you've got a pup with dodgy problems engine/transmission/corrosion/reliability/electrical problems, etc after a year or two ,so if it was left for a year and the journalist had put their own money down then give their opinion I would feel more confident in their views.

Auto Car bugs me not only as VW Group Fan Boys, but like when they run an article.

'Why VW do not need a DSG Recall in the UK', and then run another the same.

Then never did a VW, Skoda, Audi, SEAT start a Service Campaign in the UK, but they might not contact you.

Or VW Group are refusing claims on failed DSG as they are no Longer in Warranty and if the Service Campaign was done VW, Skoda, Audi, Seat will blame the Dealership that did it.

*& Waiting to read in Autocar that DQ200 DSG now have a new Service Campaign on Newer DSG, ones not part of the WORLD WIDE Recall / Europe Service Campaign, but built after that

or VW 1.4TDI Euro 6's  Like in a Mk3 Fabia are getting different Coolant used due to Water Pump Failures',  Now that is a biggie.

What Car / Auto Car might eventually  mention it as it was 2015 What Car of the year, & then 2016 What Car something or other.
