Hi, is there a brand or make that is recommended car is Fabia mk1 2007 1.9tdi hatch, looking at new rear discs and pads, again discs seem to deteriorate before the pads are on their limit, maybe I'm wrong but I recall in years gone by I'd just change the pads at least once before discs failed, however now the car is unfortunately normally parked outside all weathers car only does 4 - 6000 miles a year is not raced around and is ' hopefully ' staying with us for the duration, last pads and discs were done 4 years ago so approx 20000 miles ( which I guess is acceptable ? )

It doesn't matter, rears do very little braking which is why the discs deteriorate so quickly, I fit cheap discs with Pagid pads as a decent compromise.
