OEM Bluetooth or Polar FIS?!?

Featured Replies

Hi all!

I'm thinking about adding bluetooth for phone and media to my 2009 PFL (but LE, so has FL electronics). I have a Bolero stereo, white maxidot and no MFSW.

After browsing our Polish friends site at Car Systems, I'm not sure if I should go for one of these http://www.carsystems.pl/vw-bluetooth-kit-3c8035730e-with-wi-fi-hot-spot-newest-version,id1728.html OEM units or the Polar FIS Advanced + http://www.carsystems.pl/fis-link-polar-fis-advanced-can-box-converter-bluetooth-pdc-ops-and-much-more,id1741.html.

They're both about the same price, so any experience or suggestions would be cool.

Thanks!

The Polar FIS doesn't actually provide bluetooth functionality itself so you would still need a module with that.

Oh I see. OEM it is I guess then!

Yeah the Polar FIS and their other BT box is just more of an enabler. It allows the use of FL modules in Pre-FL cars but as yours is the FL electrics you wouldn't need this anyway.

Why don't you go for Fiscon's kit (embedded) which is also firmware upgradable?

Get a look at fiscon.de

I need the Bluetooth adding on my car to same as yours limited edition

how do you do it ?????? And what's needed
