Not once....

Not twice.... :dull:

But three times...:@

I have had to wash my car today coz of bird poo :wall:

Nearside passenger window copped it overnight.  Cue Bucket no.1.

Dropped my SD card down the side of my car seat and while trying to locate it, heard a 'thud' on the roof.  Cue bucket no.2.

Went out for a drive.  Just got past George Collins Honda in Herstmonceux and this happened, all in one go:

If it happens again I swear I'm gonna start DNA testing to find the culprit :wondering:

Blooming SD card took a while to find, and an annoyingly long time to get it out.  Every time I got a corner of it in reach, it was like tiddly winks and got flicked straight back under:

I don't like birds at the moment!

Gaz

oh dear, ive been there before in my earlier travels, seagulls everywhere,

Keep some quick detailer in the car along with a couple of microfibre towels. Give the bird bomb a couple of squirts then after a few seconds give it another squirt and then with a folded microfibre wipe up to the bird bomb and gently lift the cloth away as you run the cloth over it, it should come off in two or three passes. If not, take a little kitchen roll, squirt the bird bomb, apply the tissue and then squirt again, allow time for the bird bomb to soften and then treat like a fresh bird bomb.

You don't want to wipe into the bomb or wipe off the bomb aggressively. Birds eat gravel and other small stones to make stronger eggs, so there are very fine sharp pieces in their droppings you really don't want to wipe into the paint surface.

ONR mixed at QD strength, with a plush thick MF is just the job here - always a spray in my boot.... Hate those wipes!

I keep a bottle of greased lightning waterless wash and wax in the car for cleaning up this kind of mess and it works a treat.
