First big bill but not as much as it could have been.

Got my car back today from Capitol Skoda, Newport. Lots of work and am I glad I bought the five year warranty. I have already had nearly £5k worth of warranty work done (two big items Columbus and tv units replaced after going through all the hoops that Skoda uk demanded) before this. 66k miles and three weeks before its fifth birthday.

Four new wheels and I only paid for one.

New glove box light switch. W

New sun visor light switch it is in the visor. W

New seat switch. W

Complete replacement of the drivers window mechanism.W

New cam belt, tensioner, water pump and auxiliary belt.

Change brake fluid.

Mot.

Nearly forgot full wash and valeted before returning.

All work done with a smile plus me mandatory safety video. Use of a nice Fabia, brand new 17 plate, quite impressed with it I must say.

I have said on this site before I have at worst only had minor (Columbus and tv were minor/irritating and very difficult to solve) but rare niggles which have always been sorted out to my satisfaction.

My relationship with the Dealer has always been very good and this last visit was no exception.

Yes I will be getting my next car from them almost certainly the hybrid Superb or Kodiaq and the wife has her eyes on the new Yeti but will wait until the no discount period has finished.

Probably forgot something.:D

Great :)

Have you bought 5 years warranty with new car or extended after 3 years?

I bought it with the car but not when I signed on the line only when the car was being handed over, after I gave them some money.:D
