DCC Fault

Featured Replies

Yesterday, when turning left in 40 km/h, the car lost grip and made som small jumps straight forward approximately 0.5-1 meter. Almost bumped in to the sidewalk... At the same time the warning "There is a DCC fault" illuminated (in Norwegian Feil: Demper [Error: Damper]). The warning illuminates every time I start the engine since Friday and I can really feel that there is something wrong - Scary! Going straight to the workshop Monday. Anyone got an idea about what the problem can be - one of the dampers, the DCC system?

Either a faulty damper or wiring loom / sensor would be my guess, what setting was the suspension in at the time and what caused the loss of grip?

DCC was in Sport mode. Have tried Normal also but same warning.

Error found. Corrosion on left rear damper connector and cable breakage. Cables and rear dampers to be changed in a couple of days. The last 3-4  month there has been a rumbling noice from the rear of my car and the worshop told me that it is coused by the faulty dampers. I realy look forward to get this fixed.

That's not good on such a young car!
