Skoda Fabia central locking

Featured Replies

Hello

Was just after some advice really. I have an X reg Fabia 1.4 16V! I have noticed that when I unlock the vehicle both the front and rear passenger door pins don't fully pop up which results in me being unable to open the doors from the outside but still able to open them from the inside (which is what I'm doing at the moment)

I have seen a couple of threads talking about deadlocking and having to replace the door motor actuator.

But before I lay out my next months wages on buying two motors. Would you guys say that's the most likely cause?

Any information would be gratefully appreciated!

Thanks

James

Next months wages? I just bought a new lock on ebay for less than £20 delivered, and it's fine.

Edit: At that price you want to get them both done before the locks fail completely and you can no longer open the doors.
