Citigo 3dr vs 5dr rubber mats

Featured Replies

Just wondering what the difference is between the official 3 and 5 door rubber mats. There's a guy on eBay selling 3 door version for approx £30 and he says that he doesn't see why they wouldn't fit 5 door version as the carpet mats fit both. Does anyone know why skoda produce two versions of rubber mats?

If these would ve no be no good for my car can anyone recommend a good rubber mat that I don't need to trim etc.

I didn't know they did produce 2 different sets for 3 and 5 door. They are proper trays rather than mats so it could be that the rear seatbelt mount is different but it shouldn't be too hard to work around. That said my mats were £34 brand new from the main dealer so hardly any difference really :)

I just got some universal mats from Halfords :D

Yes I looked at a skoda parts website and the two sets have different serial numbers so must be different. I wondered if it might be due to the slight difference in size of the front seats between the two models (I seem to remember a page in the brochure having the dimensions and the seats being a little bigger on the 3 door model). When I ordered the car I was offered the full protection pack at £135 with carpet mats, boot protection and mud flaps. I declined as I wasn't sold on the need for mudflaps or the boot mat and wanted rubber ones inside. I've ordered some universal ones off amazon now that got good reviews and weren't the cheapest so hopefully these will do just as good a job. Thanks for the response.

Thanks Jonny I have ordered some from amazon now with good reviews so I hope they will be fine. I have a baby to trail around Halfords so I've taken the easier option. They get delivered today:-)
