Would like to activate my DRLs on my Octavia. Skoda dealer wants circa £50 just to assess it!! Anybody out there got the necessary tech and could help me sort this??

How old is the car, can they be turned on by using the Indicator stalk ?.

Thanks Auric Goldfinger - already tried this to no avail. It's a 2011 Octavia 1.6 tdi elegance. The bulb is there for it = doesn't look as though they have been coded?

    Have you looked to see if someone pulled the fuses to deactivate them.

    Why not just turn on your sidelights during daytime / daylight and have a little glow front and rear?
