Hi All

My drivers seat will raise with the lever on the side of the seat but it will not lower.

 

Any idea how I fix this?

I have taken the seat out and the ratchet mechanism seems to be jammed. I may need to replace it. 

 

Any idea what the part number is and is it a dealer only part?

Another question - on the height adjustment lever, how do you take off the plastic handle?

Hi Dave. I have recently completed this repair. To remove the handle you need to push a small clip inward on the inside rear part of the handle. I used a small flat blade screwdriver. Then pull the handle forward. Hope this helps mate

Cheers buddy. I got the new ratchet and have ordered she's plastic handle and clip. I hope to attempt the fix over the weekend if I get time.
