I've just been given a Vrs spoiler for my MK1 Octy but need some advice on fitting it.  Are there any pre-marked points for drilling inside the tailgate or is it a case of mark and drill from the outside, apply some tiger seal, and bolt on from underneath?

 

 

Yep,  pretty much as you say.   Mark up over a layer of masking tape and that will minimise the chance of your drill bit skating across your shiny boot lid paintwork.   

Measure twice, drill once as well!!!
