Servicing Query?

Featured Replies

Hi

I have never really understood the servicing on the Fabia Vrs so hopefully one of you can help me.

Car is 05 plate and I had a inspection service at 10,000 miles now car has 16,000 miles on the clock and Im getting an inspection spanner. Do I really need another one cause I need one at 20,000?

Cheers

An sorry for being a bit stupid

The annual inspection should be performed each year or every 20k miles, whichever comes sooner. If you're doing <20k miles a year, you'd normally get the inspection done at the 10k miles service (to save 2 visits to the dealer), but if you're doing 20k a year then you can have a lube service (oil and filter change) at 10k miles and then defer the inspection until the 20k service.

Chris

How long have you had the car? I think there's a 12 month service as well as the 10,000 mile service, lots of people (including me) get confused with this so you may be better off phoning your dealer.
