Is there an after market option for replacing the Amundsen unit to something with apple car play? I've seen the kenwood MIB1 sat nav one but it doesn't seem to offer apple CarPlay.

If you have an MIB2 Amundsen you can have Smartlink activated by a Skoda dealer for £150, this includes Apple car play and android auto.

MIB2 units were fitted from mid 2015 and have the bigger screens.

 

I have the Kenwood sat nav extra box, it doesn't have Apple car play or Android auto.
