Hello first time Skoda owner and it's a good one!

Recently joined the forum and bought my first Skoda last Saturday. Previous car history consists of:

Mk4 VW Golf gti 2.0 115bhp

Mk3 VW Golf gti 16v anniversary 150bhp

Mk5 VW Golf gti Stage 1 Revo approx 232bhp

Mk1 Seat Cupra TDI remapped approx 180bhp

Now my new one, Mk3 Octavia VRS 230 TSI Estate DSG in meteor grey. Only had it a week but really pleased with it and love the dsg so far. Need to have more of a play with it and work out what everything does as not used to all the technology.

Few plans for it involving wheel spacers, coilovers and further down the line remap or tuning box but for now just little things like rubber mats, red boot nets, led lights and pressed number plates planned.

Hi Everyone, I have been investigating how I can replace the decorative trim pieces on the console of the O4 (see attached picture (version I would like). The easy part has been figuring out the general part numbers, however I get stuck on the specifics. I know the O4 has two technical variants; one with stock leds and one with RGB leds, and that there is a multitude of different codes for all the different colours/textures. I am looking to remove the spare wheel and lower the boot floor in a 2016 4x4 Yeti - so that there is a larger flat area once the seats are removed. This is what my searches have brought up regards doing this: "With the Haldex four-wheel-drive system, the rear differential and 4x4 running gear sit directly beneath the boot. To accommodate those parts, Skoda manufactured the metal floor pan of the 4x4 chassis with a raised "hump". Even without a spare wheel, a 4x4 Yeti's standard floor sits a fe

Been here a little under 7 years. Great forum, I'm sure I'll hang around still but I've moved my octy on now for a VW Tiguan. The Octavia was a cracking car, reliable too. I took it from 47k to 120k miles, and it really didn't disappoint. The only issue it had was the heater matrix, which I had replaced eventually after freezing hands in winter!! It will pass to a new owner with full service history (Independent Vasstechnik in Eastbourne who are just great with all VW group cars). I've left

Last September my Kamiq 1.5 DSG 2020reg (regularly serviced) displayed 'Gearbox in Emergency Mode'. Very near home so able to limp home. Dealer took it in and fixed it under extended warranty. All okay until a month ago when it happened again, this time far from home. Switched off the car, restarted and all back to normal and drove perfectly. Yesterday it happened again and only D2 available. Started car today, no problem, all working, no warning sign. I'll be contacting the dealer again

Hi Skoda enthusiasts, Although there are quite a few topics similar to this one already on the forums, please allow me to ask - my 2014 Octavia Combi currently has a 4 spoke steering wheel with no MF buttons. I have cruise control on my left stalk and control the small screen on the dash from the right stalk. I wanted to upgrade to a three-spoke steering wheel, just for the looks - I found one for a fair price, but wanted to ensure it would fit. The part number is 3V04190
