Nissan 350Z

Featured Replies

Popped in to the Nissan dealer last night to take a look at the 350Z. Bloody expensive car -

Was drooling over the convertible one in the showroom while Mum was sorting out her new Micra. Looked very nice, but it was very expensive at over £30k. Also had only an extra 40 or so BHP over my own car.

Enjoy the test drive, but I imagine you're already just in it, "for the crack" :)

But hasnt' your car cost nearly £30k anyway ? ;)

Dont do it Goochie, what ever you do.

You will walk out of the showroom with the keys to it and heavily in debt.

Its the magic calculators they use, makes it seem so reasonable.

They have a very nice metalic grey one one the used-car forecourt for £22k

If you can afford it do it, Absolutely stunning car, Ive driven my mates on 2 different tracks whilst it was still standard & it was a joy to drive, the handling is just so predictable, even with traction control off its a controlled slide & never made me feel nervous. Trying his again at the end of the month, first time since the twin Turbos were fitted, was 275 bhp, now 420.

If you like it go onto Pistonheads, theres usually a few secondhand ones for sale & winter is when the sports car market is deflated, 20000 should get you into a stunning example BUT their are some Imports lurking around, the old dont touch with a barge pole comment applies, they will be a pig to resale.

Enjoy the drive

Nice blue one there with 17k on the clock for £20k including the GT pack ;)

The 350z GT spec is worth 22,000 pounds here, and for its performance, compared to other cars in the same category, it's pretty damn cheap. The EVO 8 is at around that price range here too. With 28,000 pounds you might as well go for a little more luxury and pick up an Infinity Skyline G35.

Pick it up here Gooch :D

OK Ill do it for you' date=' Link to Pistonheads

Now why da have to go and post a link that I can click and :Yikes:

Time to check out the finance...:orb_readi

arh crap, ok look basically if I go to a dealer, I'm in dire trouble. On one side is a really sensible micra esq type of car, ideal for blatting up and down the the m-way or around town to save a bundle on insurance, bla bla bla...

Or a navaro, lots of space for the camping and "outdoor" life style, still reasonable for fuel and quite handy in Scotland..see I'm trying to convince myself to get out more and that means lots of travel.

Then you see a 350z might appear...

And I know which one I would take, should take and would regret.

Mind you the navaro would make a good tow machine for the BM which is like a 350Z just more rusty and 100 or so bhp down...

Colin,

If you havent driven a 350z DONT, you will end up getting one. If I could have managed with 2 seats I would have one by now, Its the only new car I drove last year & wanted to get back into again & again, perhaps its just the exhaust note & those long gentle slides, Its just so well balanced

I can live with one seat ;) Ok I do love her, two on special days.

It's the boot space, mind you I'm still perplexed why I packed 3 pairs of kegs, couple of t-shirts, shirt, 4 pairs of pants and boot polish for a two night trip to Scotland.

Maybe it;s not SWMBO who would suffer from boot space :)

I think the 350 has a decent sized boot for a car of that type - would you like a full review when I go for the test drive, Col ? ;)

My local Nissan dealer has a stunning second hand blue 350z on the forecourt at the moment, it's got a full NISMO bodykit, exhaust, filters & wheels. Dont know much more than that about it but it looks so good. however there was also -

A brand new white 350z (white isn't on the options list:confused: ) with Nissan racing stripes down the side, Full body kit, huge alloys etc looked absolutely amazing and is without doubt the ultimate 350z. its was in the showroom for one night only so dont know if it was sold or was just there as a promotional thing but my god was it a sexy beast, it takes something special to get a load of cab drivers standing around drooling through the window!! sadly It was also the one night I didn't have my camera with me

The white one is the limited edition official Nismo Spec.

There is a track spec one in the US :(

I would not know what my nissan dealer looks like I go to great lengths to avoid driving past it...unfortunatly I can't avoid the Mitisbushi(sp) one, although I have had the pleasure of citroen and toyota moments before, which for some reason leaves me in tears of laughter...

Tell you what, to sweeten the deal, I'll let you off 10k so 120k refund...blame it on the cat :)

:D Tc speak soon Stuart...you swine..I now have "research" windows open.

Nice cars.Didn't think the Nismo gubbins did much for their performance though.Thought figures pretty similar to standard 350z,just look a bit nicer?
