Slight clutch vibration 2nd into third.

Featured Replies

I've had my 15 plate 1.6 CR octy a month now. It was on 36,500 when I got it now on 38,100 and I'm getting a slight rumble/vibration/crunchiness for want of a better description on occasion upon depressing the clutch from 2nd into 3rd but only when it's about at the bottom of pedal travel.

It's used as a taxi but has only been licensed for a week. I'm very careful with the changes as only I drive it but I'm worried it might be the DMF. I've driven high mileage 05/56 plate 1.9 octavias with worn and rattly DMFs and TBH this doesn't really feel like that, I'm wondering if it just may be a clutch characteristic on these engines. Thanks.
