Recently purchased a 2012 Skoda Octavia 1.2 TSI. I was looking around the forum to see what mods people have done to their Octavias as the one I've purchased is fairly bog standard at the moment.

I was thinking of tinting the Windows, 18' alloys, adding mk6 Gti skirts and a Cupra R front lip, vrs spoiler, Red callipers. Anyone with experience of any of these mods?

 

I haven't been able to see many body kits online apart from superskoda but seem way to expensive and have heard they take ages to deliver. 

Any help would be appreciated!

Welcome to Briskoda. You'll find a wealth of info on here about mods of all kinds. There's probably nothing that someone hasn't done and then discussed. And there's loads that you can do with an Octy.! Superskoda service seems very variable. Some report quick delivery and no issues, others have had problems with incorrect or damaged parts and then poor after sales care. Personally, I've only used a couple of times and all has been fine. 

Cheers for the reply, yeah have noticed they seem to charge extortionate prices for some things that can be found elsewhere for a quarter of the price, will have to keep an eye out.

Id go for second hand parts on ebay for wheels and spoilers etc.

There is always cars being broken.

If you are going for the full vrs look it requires a different front and rear bumper.

Id avoid superskoda as they are overpriced and have awful customer service.

 

Is the VRS front bumper much different to the standard Octavia one? Apart from the DRL's

yes totally different design.

So i'd assume it's just a straight swap between the two?

id say so although im not 100% sure.

the headlights wings and bonnets are the same so i assume its a straight swap although foglights drls etc are different
