I have a 2001 1.9TDI Elegance and when using the rear wash wipe, the sprayed water from the mechanism has always come out from the centre of the wiper blade arm and covers little of the rear screen.

I have had a quick look tonight and there appears to be another spray nozzle at an angle ( to cover a wider arc over the rear screen).

Is there 2 nozzles in the rear wipe mechanism? and if so, what is the easiest way to clear the blocked spray nozzle?

My estate has the nozzle up near to the hi-line brake light. To clear blockages in my previous cars, I have pulled the pipe apart at a joint, and then used a bike pump (for presta tyres) to blow air down the pipe....

Using a fine needle / pin (or a bit of wire) can also help to clear the blockage.
