New Northern VAG Meet

Hi All,

Just been on http://the-corrado.net and have seen a New Northern VAG Meet being set-up!! Here is the Info:

"All,

I'm organising a new watercooled VW Meet up north. Its open to all dubs and if you're reading this consider yourself invited.

Its going to be a monthly event and soon enough it'll get its own website with a gallery and maybe if it needs it a forum.

Til then its last Thursday in the month starting February 23rd 7.30pm onwards.

I'm hoping to get together enthusiasts from the modified watercooled scene so this post will be visible on Dubforce, E38, Corrado Forum, Club Polo and Demon VW. If theres a site you think it needs to go then please copy and paste the details.

We're encouraging groups, so if you want to arrive in a convoy and bring a banner then please do so. This meet isn't affiliated with any site in particular so its great for publicising your club. Just let me know how many and who beforehand so I can try and plan a spot for you.

This is an opportunity for the northern boys (and girls!) to have something like the No Rice meets at Ace Cafe. We all know our cars are as good as those shandy drinkers, so lets get together and prove it.

The venue is a huge bikers cafe called Squires Cafe at Sherburn in Elmet. In case you don't know this place take a look round this site > http://www.squires-cafe.co.uk/ The Cafe has great links to the A1, the M62 and the A1M. its 3/4 of a mile from the A1 itself. Its less than an hour from hull, 30 mins from bradford, 15 mins from leeds. Sheffield and stockton/darlington/middlesborough should be within easy reach.

As well as selling soft drinks and food the Cafe is Licensed should your passenger want a beer. Theres also a Pool Table and an Arcade Games Room to settle those grudges .
