Hi,

I am planing to build a driver assistance system using a SBC and OBD. It should have a Touch Screen Display with all the necessary parameters like

• Fuel Consumption
• Engine Load
• Power delivered
• Engine RPM
• Gear ratio
• etc

Probably this will help the driver to achieve the optimal power in moderate consumption.

I am planing to provide the voice alert system, which will provide the assistance during driving.

It should have the facility to record the previous trip details for the future analysis.

May be a real time graph can be the added mile

If anyone has any other idea please let me know.

There are phone apps that do this.  Just clip your phone to the dash with the apps on, and plug in a Bluetooth OBD reader and off you go.

Instead of a phone app, Imagine a display with HUD or the car stereo dash!!!!!!!!!!

Just like a dash with performance chart with all kind of analysis.......

Can you design in an quick action 'erase' feature just incase you are partaking in some 'sporting driving' and get pulled or have an accident.

The features you are going to have recorded seem a bit too much like having a tachograph / insurance company black box installed.

It's a simple computer anything can be erased at any point.

In fact I was seeking for the people like you(Racing DNA). 

Because most of the racers just bother about the speed and timing, They least bother about the fuel consumption. I am planing to build a solution which can help the racers to get the max performance with optimal consumption.

I need some more details in the racers perspective. If you are interested you can share some valuable inputs for this project.
