Anyone had any experience or knowledge of 'upgrading' cheap lowering springs and getting decent coilovers fitted? Mainly in the terms of ride quality.

 

I've had 35mm springs fitted almost since i bought my Monte in 2014 and doubt i could live with the stilts that are original springs but wouldn't mind better comfort (wouldn't we all!) Would i gain anything from getting coilovers at around the same drop?

Moved to a more appropriate section.

I fitted Bilstein B14 coilovers from standard and I'd say the ride was better than stock.

 

I had mine quit slammed, it was sitting pretty low and the comfort was still great
