One Abt Superb Is Hungry..

Featured Replies

Hello friends.

it's been a while I'd last written here.

well that's life.

My prepesent car status is like this:

Abt stage 1 chip

bilstein sprint & eibach springs

some minor exterior stuff..

Its been a while since a have these on

(i was posting here a couple of days before i received the abt mod)

Anyway, now I feel the need to go to stage 2.something or stage 3

that is..

around the 300hp mark..

if anybody has experience on such kind of setups,

please step forward and tell me your opinions..

i mean big turbines, fmic's, full exaust system, change of ecu etc.

nice car btw!

cant comment on the superb - but i have driven a 300bhp mk4 golf

indeed i nearly bought it until driving it - on paper it sounded great in reality FWD, 18 inch alloys, and low suspension resulted in mega torque steer...... basically you could make it leap from one side of the road to the other by pressing the loud pedal!

the superb with a longer wheelbase may be very different however?

one weak spot is the gearbox - a 225 audi TT box in a Tdi housing was used on the one i tried.

strangely enough - i've just logged on for the first time to look at possible big turbo 4x4 octavias!

the big turbo kitted car i looked at was fitted with the apr kit (www.awesomegti.com) - only lhd kits available however - direct any emails to jim at awesome - he built the thing

regards

marc

oh! superb looks mint btw!

thanks mark

your car is ultra mint, too :)

and i think going for octavia 1.8t in whatever combination (hehe) you like,

is a very good idea..

I have met lots of skoda 1.8t owners, never seen one with anything but a happy face :)
