Hello all,

What tools do I need (if any) to fit a new Bailey DV to my Octy vRS?

I have looked at the fitting of the original DV and there appears to be two crimp clamps holding the hoses to the DV - can these be re-used or do I need to replace these with some jubilee clips - if so what size?

Also I need to clean the gunk out of my throttle body to see if this will cure the hesitations I have been experiencing - again what tools do I require for this job?

Mine were an absolute sod to remove too!!

The "use once" clips are a pain to remove, I find the best way is to shove a suitable sized pozy/philips screw driver in the loop part, wiggle it around a bit then pull it off with pliers.

Doesn't the dump valve come with instructions which tell you what size clips to purchase? Mine did.

Wait till you fit a CAI. Them big clips are an absolute b'stard....

Think the clips you need are about 1 inch to 1.5 inch....

to clean the throttle body i purchased a can of carb clearner areosol took off the IC pipe attched to the throttle body and sprayed inside whilst working the throttle open and close consentrating on the hinged areas....

Just swap the dv over...like for like...need jubilee clips.

For cleaning use isopropyl...you can get it from Maplins.
