Really deep Gloss shine required.........

Featured Replies

So, today the 230 has had a good clean, inside and out.

Traffic film remover, snow foamed, tar spots removed, clay mitted, snow foamed again then washed, 2 Bucket method with a sheepskin wash mit, dried with a wooly mamouth drying towel, then sealed up. Wheels washed and sealed up, tyres coated with tyre gel. The car paint is now spotless with a nice silky touch and a nice shine but I'm after something to put on top of the sealent which gives a really deep, glossy shine ( Meteor grey paint )  Easy on, easy off preferred

Any suggestions folks

Thanks

AG

Victoria's concours wax, R222 wax (great product) or I would try a 30ml trial tub of infinity super gloss wax (another amazing product) but even the 200ml pot is worth its price.

Thanks for that Sir,

Can these be applied on top of Sealent ?

I can't see why not, I don't use sealent but I would of thought you can apply

a wax on top of a sealent for that added protection & shine.

There is a product that the trade call .... a top coat :D

Seriously though pick something with a high silicone content for an almost ‘wet look’ finish, a work collegue has just tried some Autosmart Cobalt +  on metallic graphite grey paint and it looks very shiny B)

Gyeon Cancoat is worth a look.

cheers

Just watched this on YouTube.

Give Gyeon Cure a go. EWhether it's sealed with an Si02 based sealant or wax or even nothing at all, it's a great drying aid post wash, leaves a slick surface and a great gloss.

This an unloved VW Golf. First real wash in two+ years, washed with Gtechniq Gwash, foamed and wiped in with Gyeon Foam, rinsed and then dried with Gyeon Cure.

EDIT: Corrected post. Brain failed me and I wrote Polo instead of Golf. Doh

That's a Golf, but a decent finish nonetheless :)

Doh. I'd done about three straight Polos and the Golf looks so much like the Polo these days it didn't occur to me to double check.

VWs aren't my thing, I prefer Skodas and SEATs in the VAG sphere of cars. Cheers for letting me know though.

EDIT: corrected earlier post
