Hi please can someone help

I need to replace the suspension on my Octavia 2005 1.9tdi. It appears that there is two sizes for the diameter of the strut 49.6mm or 55mm.

Does anyone know which it is as I have measured and got 49.6 and my partner measured and got 55mm so god knows.

It will be 50mm for a 1.9, as they follow your brake set up as you should have 280mm front discs.

 

 

288mm and 312mm discs set up will have 55mm struts hubs
