Featured Replies

2011 OCTAVIA ESTATE 2l DIESEL, think the battery has finally given up, will try a recharge but its original unit so not done bad, any suggestions on best replacement please.

If you're keeping the car then Bosch S5, if it's not a keeper you'll have it for a few more yeas then get the S3 version

Thanks, not sure how long to keep, 55000 miles and running well but I tow so might go for the better one

Or go for varta E44 which is same as S5 but cheaper

Try Advanced Battery Services on EBay they have a shop. Calcium with 4-5 years warranty. Type 100 and Type 9x I seemed to recall when I bought some from them a while back around £45 delivered. It's been suggested on here a few times so do a quick search. Please do double check sizes and compatibility. These fitted into a 1.9 Octy 2 and Fabia 1.

Oh forgot to add several warning lights now on Halfords guy said should go out when driven ??

They do go out within a hundred metres so don't panic.
