My door deadlocked and i had to replace the whole mechanism.

After doing so my door lock doesnt actually lock anymore.

When i arm the alarm, if i open the door, the alarm goes off. But the door itself doesnt lock.

Is there any way to program the door lock?

Do i have to do something in order to get the door synchronised with the other doors?

Currently have the whole door stripped down, so want to get it back up and working.

any help would be appreciated.

Did you get a lock with exactly the same part number? Was it a cheap one?

I got it from Steveopc/Skyhawk a while ago.

Wasnt a cheap one from ebay.

But it was cheap.

 

Bad luck, I got stung by SteveO as well, only one of the things he sold me from a job lot was any real use, everything else was damaged, wrong or didn't work, at least it was all cheap. He's a two-bit hustler as the 'murricans would say.

 

I bought a cheap brand new lock off the bay for £20 delivered and it works just fine. At that price it's just not worth mucking about with a dodgy secondhand one.

In order top get another one, replacement. 

What should i be looking for?

Part number wise?
