OCTAVIA III VRS WHEELS FIT TO OCTAVIA II FL?

Featured Replies

Hello,

Anyone aware if the Octavia's III VRS wheels fit to II FL?

What are the sizes available?

Thanx.

Any info?

I assume you mean rims (alloys). All Octavia III rims, including vRS will fit Octavia II. Also Yeti, Superb I, II and III rims will fit. Just make sure to use tyre size suitable for your Octavia.

Thanks Fatzy,

Do you know what sizes are the MK3's alloys? And dimension of tyres?

Thats an odd question as they range from 16 to 19 inch.

You need to be more specific in which wheels you want.

Not particularly odd as the OP's original query related to the VRS. They are 18x7.5j ET51 in standard form or the optional extremes are 19x7.5j ET51.

Tyres are 18/225/40 or 19/225/35.

17" rims are 225/45X17 tyres  ( as fitted standard to a Cyprus Spec MKIII Vrs )

Thanks everyone for all info.

Current wheels are factory's  16" 205/55  . Very nice in rolling and quite....

Nice will be the 18" but will they be much heavier than current's? Will  the car be struggling in achieving the same  revs and keeping high speeds with ease?

Specs is 1.4TSI REVO staged 1  from 122 to 160 bhp.

Thanks for opinions on this issue.

Also what about offset? Will this be changed with 18" and so car's behaviour will be different?
