Radiator Bottom Connector leaking

Featured Replies

Evening all,

Im hoping someone can help, I've just replaced my radiator after it sprang a leak. When filling the radiator up it has developed a leak on the bottom connector. Just a drip at the moment. Any ideas if these are supposed to have a seal? Or why it could be leaking.

Thanks in advance :)

Not 100% sure this is the same on a vRS, but I'll check in a sec:

Yeah, looks to be the same.

Check that the fitting on the new radiator doesn't have any moulding-flash type protruberances that might be interfering with the o-ring's sealing, and if not, replace the o-ring, or try re-seating the connector.
