Hpfp Fuse/relay location

Featured Replies

Hi can anyone point me in the right direction for the high pressure fuel regulator fuse or relay...

Thanks

Don't really have any experience of your questions related to the fuel regulator faults but p229 of the manual suggests F23 (engine compartment box) has 3  items. the 15a one being the fuel regulator.

I guess someone iwth the right access to schematics could point you in the right direction for further circuit info, Otherwise, you may be able to get access, I think it is a paid for service but not horrendously expensive.

Actually, F23 is fuel pump 15A. The fuse locations also suggest item 1 on internal fuse box is fuel pump 10a maybe that is the lift pump.  Fuel pump relay number 27 15a internal fuse box.  Can't see anything for regulator so it must be shared with something?

Can you test voltage at the regulator with any of those removed to confirm?

I'll have a look

Thanks

Be aware the fuse location lay out diagrams for the internal fuse box is the mirror of how they appear in the handbook. So you have to look at it from behind the page, or with a mirror but you'll be able to match likely with ratings of fuses and the row number should be correct.

Found the problem was fuse F6 (15a) had blown replaced it now epc light is off and all is well

Well, well done on resolving, in the Octavia manual mine says for F6 in engine compartment fuse box:

F6 - Instrument cluster, windshield wiper lever and turn signal light lever 5A (not 15a)

Haven't checked my actual car, but a bit bizarre that. But alls well that ends well!

Checked every fuse in the car and that was the only 1 that had popped..

Changed it and all is well
