Getting a kind of click/rattle from the steering column area on my SE when turning a moderate corner at slow speed. No movement whatsoever when pulling/lifting the wheel. No knocks from anywhere else. Car drives as tight as a drum.

Anyone had a similar issue?

Cheers, Derek.

Clicks/rattles from the front are either ARB bushes or drop links as a rule, to check you need to raise the front until both droplinks and the ARB are unloaded then you can grab them and give them a shake, likewise the ARB itself whatever rattles is shot.

Yeah getting it up on a ramp Thursday to have a look but the noise appears to be coming from the steering column inside the car. Will check everything to see if the noise is travelling.

You'll tend to hear any noise coming from under the front best through the dirty great hole in the floor right where the steering column meets the rack. The ARB is right next to the rack remember.
