Front/Back Badge removal

Featured Replies

Hey guys swapping my old skoda badges for the new ones and was wondering if anyone has tips on removing them? Tia

Hair dryer (warm them up) and use some plastic tool to lift them up or just screw driver through the middle of the badge...

Dental Floss slotted between body & badge and a sawing motion around the edge to release the Glue, not sure if this has these have the pins that slot into the body.

you can work out if these have the guide pins by attempting to saw either top - botton / bottom - top or side to side, if it stops part way across the you have the guide pins.

If this is the case then saw into middle using floss till all around done, then with a cloth folded over the end of a flat head screw driver, very gently work around the badge to prise it off.

You can use man spray deodrant to clean off the glue left on the body work ( Lynx used to be the best).

No its not a wind up. :)
I used this method to get the badges off my Octy MKII FL

Thanks a lot guys never heard of the deodorant method but I like it haha!

I did this hair dryer treatment & then got some thin fishing wire hooked it behind in a loop & pull off. May need gloves as fishing wire hard on hands

I used an old out of date bank card, just pushed it firmly between the badge and bodywork and separated the two. Did not even have to warm up the badges first. It only made a bit of a mess of the card.
