My first main post so please bear with me. 

 

When in revers in a 2010 VRS, does the factory headunit automatically pause the track if playing cd? 

Does it do the same when a phone is connected and a call comes in?

Mine didn't. It can be set to reduce the volume though. 

Full 'none volume' would act as a pause though. 

Where in vcds would I set this? 

You still use cds!!!!!

Not entirely sure it's a VCDS setting. I know on the Stream MP3 it was in the volumes menu.

Yes, should be in one of the HU menus.

Better sound quality than compressed digital files. I prefer cds over anything apart from vinyl. But I cant fit a turntable in the car as it would skip a bit.
