Had the car 2 weeks now and love it. 

 

Its a 2015 6 speed manual with black pack plus, sunset glass, Columbus media/nav, Canton speaker/sub and 19 inch Extreme wheels.

Received my order from Superskoda this morning, the Skoda first aid kit and some vRS badge inserts for the front seats.

Bought a cheap key cover from Amazon, just the one to see if it fitted. All looks good so I'll order another.

 

 

 

 

Car went in for an oil/filter change, new pollen filter and fresh brake fluid this morning. 

 

Just had a new air filter delivered earlier so that can be fitted tomorrow.

 

Turns out I can't change the airfilter until I go home, at the other halfs this week and assumed all I needed was a crosshead screwdriver. 

That would be far too simple, looks like some sort of hexscrew or torx bit is required.

How long did they take to arrive? I put an order in for those seat inserts after seeing this thread, and also went for the footrest to match the pedals.

 

And yes the airbox lid has torx screws. The facelift VRS with the previous gen TSI had Philips head screws which was a bit easier.

Superskoda took around 10-12 days to arrive, same as some others that ordered but items were packaged well.

Finally got round to fitting the new Mann air filter, even says on the airbox housing that a Mann filter is recommended.

 

 

One of the torx screws is a bit difficult to reach but easy enough to move one of the sensors out of the way to reach the screw head.

 

 

The old filter is only 13,200 miles old but this picture shows how dirty it is. I'm not sure how often its supposed to be changed but I will be changing it every 10k.
