Since he was presumably happy with the previous repair, suggest he gets a quote from the same place?

If it's a sensible amount, stick the cash in his hand.

Job jobbed

I thought he had got it fixed but one of the lads told me that he hasn't got it fixed. Will check it tomorrow when I go back tomorrow.

Don't give him the money to pay the bill, you pay the bill. He might not get it repaired if it's not noticeable and then he has a few nights out boozing at your expense

Oh yes, no money changing hands till I see the job done and the job sheet. He said he feels like hitting me, told him to chill it's only a car/small dent.

Beef gravy? ;)

Get a picture of the other damage without him knowing, so he doesn't try and get both dings sorted at your cost.

Why don't you tell him you would pay the chipsaway price and if he wants to take it to ford then he pays the balance.

He has been to Ford and the job has been done. Thanks to paint insurance he has got on the car it is going to cost me £42.:-). The job cost £160 but this paint insurance helped.
