questions for fuel and oil choice

Hi there!

Two questions bother me during the year passed using the car. 2.0TDI 150hp MY2016.

1. Shall I use Castrol or Shell for the first oil change. I plan to do it earlier, when fhe car does 1 year or 15k km. Heard many pros for Castrol, medium for Shell. Both 507 LL.

2. Currently I'm switching between OMV MaxxMoition and Shell VPower Nitro+. My observations are Shell makes the engine noisier and more rough at low revs. Is this due to better performance achieved? Where MaxxMotion drive is quieter. Reading here and there can't find if usage of higher prized fuel makes and good, except spending money. My concern is not performance but the engine life and proper work, therefore less issues with DPF/EGR/injectors. Also does those additives achive cleaning or more hp, what do you know?
