Rear fog bulb type

Featured Replies

Hi guys, did a search on a few different variations of the term "rear fog bulb" and can't seem to find the answer. Was greeted by a bulb out error this morning for my right rear fog. Does anyone know what the correct bulb type is? I have the rear led units if that makes a difference (though the fog bulb is halogen I believe).

Thanks

Think I've found the answer according to an online version of ETKA; comes back as a H21W 12V 21W.

Yep, that's correct if you have the LED rear clusters.

Thanks aki78. Is it a white bulb behind the red cluster (to appear red). Not had the chance to pull it out yet and was going to pick one up on the way home from work.

It's a white bulb.

@aki78 Don't suppose you have replaced these with a decent LED bulb have you? I know you've done quite a few other swaps to LED.

It's a small but powerful bulb, unfortunately LED replacements are simply not bright enough. I have tried 2 different type then I gave up and put the originals back.

The problem is that the bulb is very small and there's not enough space on it for bigger heatsink. So the LEDs are running on lower power and therefore they are not bright enough.

Cool, original halogen replacement it is then. Thanks :)
