Just done a deal on a Yeti SE L Drive 1.2 DSG and been offered £650 for my Fabia 1.9 tdi Elegance. It's done 115k and mechanically sound having been regularly serviced. It doesn't use a drop of oil and runs sweet. There is a bit of bodywork that needs sorting out (courtesy of swmbo) and its got VRS wheels that would benefit from a refurb but that's it really.

 

I know I could get more if I sold the parts or did a bit of tarting up but is it worth the time and effort? Anyone out there got the time or space to do it so I know it's going to a good home?

I'd be potentially interested in that and yes you'd definitely get more money than what they're offering you.
