Hi all

 

I have been quoted £1,095 for a clutch and DMF from an independent or £771 if the DFM looks OK and is not needed.  Those prices are all inc VAT, fitting etc.

 

Can anyone tell me if that's a reasonable price or if there is a cheaper way to do it such as sourcing parts on the internet etc.  If so, part numbers would be very helpful.

As a reference point, Škoda charge £659 for a new clutch, and that will come with a 2 year guarantee.
