Hi Everyone, ChrisPAmbulance coming in from the midlands here currently driving a 16 plate Octavia DSG diesel. I've been driving Skodas since the days when they put the engines in a sensible place round the back. Always a lot of fun driving in the snow.

 

My fondest memory of those days was having the engine in the back, but the radiator in the front by the boot, when I went camping, I always packed the sleeping bags right at the front. When we arrived, the sleeping bags were as warm as toast. the added advantage was that you could get just about anywhere with 3 spanners (and the outside shell of a biro which came in handy fixing the choke cable once :-) !!)
