Model year changes 2013 - 2015

Featured Replies

Is there a list anywhere that gives the model year updates and changes? I'm looking at getting a earlier VRS (2013 to say 2015) and I am wondering if there is any MY to look for or avoid due to various updates? I have seen that in 2014 the flat bottom steering wheel became standard and the estate that I am hopefully going to see has that fitted.

cheers

Might be best to say what you actually want on a car.  SatNav and flat bottomed steering wheel became standard late in 2014.  They have been speccing them up through the years so later the better for kit and tech!!

I have Winter Pack and Canton but that seems to be rare as they were always options.

If possible I want Nav, as it's easier for the wife having it built in. Plus if poss a flat bottom wheel.

the car I have seen is a white estate that's a June 2015 reg car. It appears to have:

Nav

flat bottom wheel

tinted rear windows

full winter pack (wife's happy as warm bums)

heated screen

and I think that's it.

Was folding mirrors ever an option

Mid 2015 they got the MIB2 radios with the bigger higher resolution screen and faster processor, think it went from 6" to 7"

Have a google, if you want more info on that.

The late 2016 model (MY17) options:

- DCC

- Wireless phone charging

- Rear-view parking camera with washer

These were not available on MY16 or earlier models.

I took them all... :)

Late diesels got smaller front discs, although they may not be important to you.. I have flat bottom wheel on a 64 if that helps
