1.4tsi startup seems slow, but not all the time. I make a lot of short journeys. How can I tell if the battery is failing?

Possible hint. ;) Also, when it's slow to fire up, does the starter motor sound to be turning more slowly?

I don't think so.

 

It must be the original battery in a 2013 car, covered 40k.

 

I'm getting in serviced on Friday, I'll ask them to check it.
