So I thought I would say hi....hi! :D

 

Completely new here, bought first car around 4 hours ago, it was a skoda fabia h/b se 12v 69ps 5door....in brilliant silver don't you know! haha

Absolute bargain I reckon thanks to super low mileage.

Can you tell its exciting?!

 

Must admit though; no idea what 69ps stands for...:blink:

 

Really looking forward to become a part of a great big community and getting to see others cars.

 

I am not really a 'gearhead'; memorising torque figures or ride heights etc, but that being said I am very interested in finding out what can be done to my model, tweaked etc...

So, I've said a basic hi, updated my profile a bit and now I'll sit back and look up some stuff on the 'ole' interweb....

    Welcome aboard, welcome to Skoda ownership, so what year or registration is the car?  Sounds like you're a happy bunny!

     

    69ps, the PS is the German equivalent to horsepower, it's not completely interchangeable, but close enough; it means, I recall, "PFERD STERKE" so presumably "horse strength" is translation.

     

    I seem to recall that my 105BHP (brake horse power) Roomster equates to 103 PS.  Others will advise if I'm wrong. You could google it, wiki will have the answers!

    German....of course.... I speak some German (well, actually Austrian) how did I not click?! :blush:

    Paid for my 2 years of freedom this morning, what a great place this forum is already!

    Looking forward to the idea of my first ever car meet!

     

    My car is 14 plate so about 3 years old. I should be picking it up today. Apparently the dealer still has checks and new tyres to do, they mot it. Also we paid for that gap insure so they are doing the autoglym stuff for free! And throwing in a load of the bottles of cleaning stuff :biggrin:

    Today is going by sooo slowly already...haha. I'm hoping because it was bought Sunday that by the end of today they'll be finished....

    Then im going to start searching for accessories for it and have a play. hahaha.
