Any advice on these pics? Can it run Waste Veg Oil? Is it heavily electrically controlled?

@Chasesdragons - It's your money, but I wouldn't want to try it because electronic injection pumps (even presuming this is a 90 or a 110 and not a PD130; it's impossible to tell from this shot; we'll need a detailed description of the TDi badge including which characters if any are red, and/or the 3 letter engine code to do that) need higher lubricity than veggie oil can provide.

As long as its not common rail/PD and has a bosch injection pump it should be fine on chip oil. 

as long as it's well de-watered and cleaned  and don't forget winter temps

Used to mix mine 50/50 with derv in the winter.
