Washer Bottle Filter ?

Featured Replies

Went to fill up my washer bottle today, and it suddenly dawned on me there was no washer bottle filter - but then I'm not sure if it actually had one ?

Wife's Fabia has one, as do various other vehicles that I drive for work.

So, does the Octavia have one, and if so anyone know where I can get one from ?  I've tried eBay but not quite sure what the thing is called ..

Cheers all ....

My 2010 Octy Scout came with one.

You could phone a Škoda dealer to find out what it is actually called or get the part number. If you think their price is too much, Google the part number or name and compare price with what is being sold online.

I believe it's just called a strainer and the part number is 1C0 955 485 and superseded by 4A0 955 485.

Worth checking the above part numbers if possible.

Seem to be about £25 from ebay, not sure on a dealer price but a scrappy is probably the best bet :)

Use filtered water instead, Lol.........

Thanks for the replies folks ..

Bit astounded at the possible price - so will see anyone local has  one they're scrapping first.

The part numbers will come in handy though, and I knowl note know to call it a strainer lol

I don't know why you'd need a filter unless you were in the habit of using rain/river water.

Use a piece of ladies tights across the filler hole if you want a cheap filter.

No I can't give you advice re which denier to use!
