Throttle body

Featured Replies

Hello,

can anyone post a photo of where the throttle body is, i need to clean it this weekend and if anyone has a guide on how to do it i would greatly appreciate it!

if you look at your engine at the front of the engine poking out from underneth the plastic cover is big silver metal chunk, this is your air intake manifold... on the left of this is a black pipe that appears as if it dissapears down into the wing where the black pipe meets the manifold is your throttle body... disconnect the black pipe and clean away... if your unlucky you may have to take out the head light to get to the jublee clip

I dont have any pics sorry

Joel

Sadly not labeled in this photo but it is at the very top left of the photo.

Thanks alot guys, think i'll do that and play with my MAF, problems with idle and cold starts :(

Have a careful listen where "FPR" is written on that photo. It took me a while to find a split hose under there but you coul dhear is hissing when the engine was idling.
