Parking sensors that use radio display

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I have a Fabia MK2 (2011 model) and I am thinking of retrofitting the parking sensors.
I have the basic radio that comes with the model (SWING).

What specs should the parking sensors have to be compatible with SWING's display?

Can you recommend some from Ebay?

Thank you for your time!

If you're wanting genuine, this is the kit to get. My dad installed into my mums Fabia. He also fitted a Bolero, but they also work with the Stream (my wife's car had these factory fitted with the stream and worked fine - since fitted a Bolero also). Can also get them painted to the correct colour code pre-delivery:

From memory, the buzzer sits in the passenger B pillar, with 2 wires continuing to the front drivers footwell to the CCM, and the module in the boot. Once the bumper is off, the positions of the sensors are marked in the moulding on the back so you know where to drill. ;)  Took us about 3/4hrs - the hardest bit positioning myself in the footwell to connect the CAN wires!

Should then show up like this:
