Just doing a slight mod to some dashboard lighting bit don't have the car here at the minute to check but need to plan on wiring routing etc 

 

Is it still the same procedure for removing the headlight switch as fabia 2 

 

Also is the blue and white wire the dash lighting feed for when the lights are turned 

 

Is there also an earth at the switch

Yes. Push in, turn clockwise and pull

I added the W8 light unit, I took feed off the headlamp levelling switch as it was easier to work out which was the interior lighting pin. Pop the end of the dash off with a trim removal tool (same as getting to the fuse box on many other VAG cars) and it's all really accessible.
